Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fitting for an at least tiltable and parallel-adjustable sash of a window, a door or the like.
  • a rotary handle operatively connected to at least one drive rod, which can be rotated at least from a locking position into a first unlocking position, and with at least one releasable locking device for the lower wing end, which automatically returns to the locked position when it is returned from the parallel storage position and can be released in a second unlocking position by means of an additional automatically resettable rotary movement of the rotary handle.
  • this fitting If you move this fitting from the locking position to the first unlocking position, which can be a ready-to-tilt position, from which you can bring the sash into the tilting position by pulling out its upper end or by means of a corresponding control, which precedes the parallel parking position, thus preventing or prevent all releasable locking devices from moving the sash into the parallel storage position immediately following the tilting position.
  • the locking device automatically comes into action when the wing placed in parallel is returned to the tilted position, there is a risk that an outside person, for example on a balcony or outdoors, will be locked out if another person, in particular a child, has the wing placed in parallel on presses in the lower end and thereby returns to the secured tilt position.
  • the object of the invention is to develop a fitting of the type mentioned in such a way that the automatic entry into force of the released locking device can be consciously and manually prevented.
  • the fitting is designed according to the preamble of claim 1 in accordance with the characterizing part of this claim.
  • This fitting solves the task because, with its help, the handle rotated to trigger the locking device by means of an additional rotary movement can be held in the end position of the additional rotary movement and its automatic resetting can thereby be prevented.
  • This is done with a manually operated locking device. If the latter is released, the reset mechanism for the releasable locking device can be activated or activated in such a way that a transfer from the tilted position into the parallel storage position is prevented or when the wing in parallel position is returned to the tilting position the latter is automatically secured again.
  • the releasable locking device for the tilting position is overridden by hand, so that the locking device cannot be made ineffective by mistake, but requires a very specific action. Because the twist grip assumes or maintains a rotational position that is not possible when the grip is released when the locking mechanism is deactivated, it can already be seen from this "abnormal" position of the twist grip that the locking mechanism is not in operation or cannot come into operation. For the reasons mentioned, the locking device is also released by hand.
  • the locking device has a locking member mounted on the rotary handle, which in the locking position in a wing-fixed receptacle intervenes.
  • the wing-fixed receptacle is advantageously located on a rosette, which is usually present anyway with such fittings.
  • the locking member can be moved against the resistance of a return spring into the locking position and the latter can be locked by friction.
  • the frictional engagement is generated or strengthened by the restoring force which wants to return the rotary handle to the unlocking position.
  • a further development of the invention provides that the turning handle can be locked in about the end position of the additional rotary movement by means of the locking device relative to the wing or a fitting part attached to it.
  • the twist grip is under the influence of a spring restoring force when the locking device is released, so that it automatically goes into the unlocking position when it is released and the locking device is out of action.
  • a preferred variant of the invention provides that the locking member can be displaced approximately parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotary handle, its wing-side one end being insertable into a receptacle open towards the edge of the rotary handle and the other end being designed as a push button or connected to such a button.
  • the push button protrudes sufficiently far beyond the surface of the rotary handle at least in the unlocked position of the locking device.
  • a further embodiment of the invention results from claim 4.
  • the rotary handle In the locked position, the rotary handle preferably projects downward, and in the unlocked position it then assumes a horizontal position, pointing away from the associated frame rail. As a result, after the additional rotary movement, the rotary handle points upwards or at least obliquely upwards.
  • a further embodiment of the invention is set out in claim 5.
  • a wing for example an outer door
  • a wing can be tilted about a horizontal lower axis and then parallel-adjusted.
  • this sash can be pushed in the parallel storage position in front of another sash or a fixed field, in order thereby to allow passage through the released opening of the frame.
  • the closed wing can be locked in a known manner with respect to the frame, for example with the aid of locking members of the wing, which engage in corresponding locking receptacles of the frame.
  • the locking members can be moved up and down by means of a drive rod in the sense of the double arrow 5.
  • the movement of the closing-side vertical drive rod 4 is transmitted to a lower horizontal drive rod 7 via a lower corner deflection 6.
  • the drive rods are adjusted via a rotary handle 8 mounted on the vertical wing spar 11 on the closing side. This engages with a mandrel 9 that extends its axis of rotation in a transmission of known type, which in turn is coupled to the vertical driving rod (s) on the closing side.
  • the locking position of the rotary handle and thus also the fitting is designated 8a and a first unlocking position 8b. All locking members are in the first unlocking position 8b has emerged from its locking receptacles, but a locking device 10, for example associated with the tilt axis, has not yet been released.
  • the wing can be tilted from this first unlocking position 8b, preferably by pulling the handle, into the interior of the room.
  • this tilting is automatically controlled following the unlocking.
  • the tilted sash just as little as the one in readiness for tilting, can easily be transferred to the parallel storage position, the lower wing end being set down from the fixed frame to the interior of the room.
  • the twist grip In order to be able to park the sash in parallel, the twist grip must be rotated further in the direction of arrow 12 until it has reached the second unlocking position 8c (FIG. 2) or a comparable position. The latter also applies if the rotary handle is pivoted by more than 90 ° during automatic tilting. In any case, the rotational movement in the direction of arrow 12 from position 8b releases the locking device or locking devices 10.
  • the rotational end position or the second unlocking position 8c of the rotary handle can be secured, in which the locking device 10 is in an ineffective position.
  • the wing can be moved from the tilting position into the parallel storage position and vice versa as often as desired without it being locked in the tilting position.
  • the locking element 13 engages with the locking counter-member 14 at the moment in which the sash has been returned from its parallel position to its tilted position. Repeated parallel parking is without a rotary movement of the rotary handle from the first unlocking position 8b to the second unlocking position 8c not possible.
  • the working position of the locking device 10 is brought about by a return spring 16 which is assigned to the lower spars and which is supported on the lower cross member on the one hand and on the locking element on the other hand. Moreover, this return spring 16 causes the turning handle to be turned back from position 8c to position 8b when it is released.
  • the locking device 15 has a locking member 18 which is displaceable on the rotary handle 8 in the sense of the double arrow 17 and which engages in a wing-fixed receptacle 19 in the locking position.
  • this is attached to a rosette 20 placed on the surface of the vertical wing spar that faces the interior of the room. It is, for example, a blind hole that is open towards the rotary handle 8.
  • the locking member can be pressed in against the resistance of a return spring 21 in the direction of arrow 22. If the rotary handle 8 is released in this pressed-in position, the force of the return spring 16 can have an effect, and this results in the particularly thickened inner end 23 of the locking member 18 being pressed against the bore wall of the receptacle.
  • the effective friction between the adjacent, preferably cylindrical surfaces prevents the locking member 18 from being reset against the arrow 22 under the influence of the return spring 21.
  • the deliberate release is achieved by turning the rotary handle 8 by a minimal amount in the direction of the arrow 12. As a result, the friction is eliminated so that the locking member 18 can spring back into the release position.
  • the locking member 18 can be displaced approximately parallel to the axis of rotation 9 of the rotary handle 8.
  • the outer end of the locking member 18 is accessible at least in the inactive position of the locking device 15 and is designed as a push button 24.
