- the telescopic arm 40 is deployed, and simultaneously the support column 36 descends, for depositing the bottles 2 either at the bottom of the container 3, or on the half-layer deposited in the previous cycle.
- the following gripping and removal cycle is carried out in the same manner, however with an additional movement: the telescopic arm 40, and with it the gripping head 41, rotate over the container 3 by 180 °, to allow the next half-layer to be stored in the opposite direction. It is understood that the repeated stacking of half-layers in alternating directions leads to a superposition of complete layers, with the overlapping of the half-layers, over the entire height of the container 3. Of course, the operation is programmed, in particular as regards vertical strokes, to take into account the distinct positions of the successive layers.
- the conveyor chains 5 of the accumulation table 4 are driven in a movement directed towards the back.
