Claims (4)

1. A bobbin changing device in a spinning apparatus with a rotatable and axially movable spindle (1) provided with a bell-shaped yarn guide member (6) rotatable about the spindle axle, whereby on the free end of the spindle (1) or a bobbin (8) carried by said spindle an extension (9) may be detachably attached, said extension being arranged for winding up a yarn section of limited length before the change of a bobbin, characterized by a bobbin holding element (10) which is movable by a driving means lateral to the spindle axle between a first position in the extension of the spindle axle and a second position adjacent to the spindle (1) in order to receive a full bobbin (8.1) from the spindle (1) and to carry said full bobbin to a second position and to carry an empty bobbin tube (8) from a second position to a first position, and by a supporting element (11) which is movable by a driving means lateral to the spindle axle from a position adjacent to the spindle (1) to a position in the extension of the spindle axle in order to carry the said extension (9) during the bobbin changing process.
2. A bobbin changing device as claimed in claim 1, characterized by a second supporting element (12) which is displaceable by a further driving means lateral to the spindle axle in order to hold a bobbin (8.1) arranged on a spindle (1) against axial displacement with said spindle (1).
3. A bobbin changing device as claimed in claim 2, characterized by a control means for a driving means for the axial displacement of the spindle (1) and for the driving means of the bobbin holding element (10), the above-mentioned first supporting element (11) and the second supporting element (12).
4. A bobbin changing device as claimed in one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized by a conveying means (14, 15) for carrying off the full bobbin (8.1) from the mentioned second position and for bringing up an empty bobbin tube (8) to said second position.
