Definitions

  • the invention relates to a detergent dispenser for washing machines or the like.
  • GB-A-2 022 622 discloses a detergent dispenser of the type mentioned at the outset.
  • the cross-sectional constrictions are formed in that the two opposite guide walls each have a wedge-shaped mutual distance.
  • the incoming water jet is directed against these guide walls and, after leaving the cross-sectional constriction, impacts a baffle plate arranged behind the guide walls in the direction of flow. From there, the water continues to flow to the side opening channels, which is to ensure that all cleaning material adhering to the inner walls is removed.
  • the invention has for its object to further improve a detergent dispenser of the type mentioned with a view to completely flushing the detergent out of the chambers.
  • This object is achieved according to the invention in that a cross-sectional constriction is provided between the guide walls and / or in an area lying behind the guide walls in the direction of loading, and in that at least the cross-sectional constriction between the guide walls is provided by a on a bottom wall and / or a top wall of the cover Approach is formed.
  • the flow rate of the water supplied via the fresh water nozzles is increased in some areas. This enables the formation of a flow that leads to a substantially uniform water supply to all spray openings on the bottom.
  • These can e.g. B. in a manner known from DE-A-36 04 674 so distributed and aligned over the bottom wall that a substantially residue-free rinsing is possible with uniform application of the spray nozzles.
  • the formation of the cross-sectional constrictions in the form of a mentioned approach means that such cross-sectional constrictions are easy in z. B. can be formed from plastic lids.
  • the cross-sectional constriction lying behind the guide walls has a curved section that runs essentially symmetrically to a longitudinal center plane of the water guide channel.
  • the curved section enables the flow direction to be influenced for the purpose of uniform application of the spray openings.
  • the guide walls each have an opening opposite one another.
  • portions of the water supplied to the water guide channels can each be returned to the main flow, which is formed by the water conducted between the guide walls via the fresh water nozzles.
  • the return or entrainment of water shares via the openings takes place according to the mode of action of water jet pumps. It is thus possible to form two flows with closed flow lines. This results in essentially uniform velocity and thus also pressure distributions for the water supplied in the areas of the water guide channels, in which the spray openings are arranged, which are relevant for the loading of chambers.
  • flows with slightly asymmetrical or with essentially symmetrical flow lines can be achieved.
  • the openings can be arranged adjacent to a cross-sectional constriction in such a way that, due to the increasing flow velocity due to the cross-sectional constriction, the pressure prevailing in the region of the openings in the main flow is reduced. This will the proportion of water returned through the openings is increased, and the currents which have essentially closed flow lines can thus be made stronger.
  • the cross-sectional constriction can be formed in the flow direction before or after the openings. It only has to be ensured that the pressure drop acts sufficiently up to the area of the openings. If the cross-sectional constriction is formed after the openings in the flow direction, it can also be achieved that the flow emerging from the area between the guide walls maintains its direction to an increased extent.
  • each guide wall and / or each opening extends from the bottom to the top wall. This results in good guidance for the flow running between the guide walls.
  • the openings are thus also simple and can be produced with favorable dimensions for the return of a proportion of water into the space lying between the guide walls.
  • a guide extension extending at an angle to the guide wall is arranged adjacent to at least one opening.
  • a middle wall is formed between the guide walls.
  • the formation of a uniform main flow is promoted in a simple manner by the middle wall.
  • the formation of flows with closed flow lines is influenced favorably.
  • spray openings are formed only outside the part of the bottom wall lying between the guide walls.
  • flow conditions can be achieved in the space between the guide walls, which are unaffected by a pressure drop caused by fresh water nozzles and lead to a good water supply to the area of the water guide channel lying outside the guide walls.
  • the detergent dispensing device shown in FIG. 1, designated overall by 2, has lateral guides (not shown) as receptacles for a drawer 6.
  • chambers 8, 8 'for receiving detergents, laundry treatment agents or the like are formed, of which only two can be seen in FIG. 1.
  • the drawer 6 can be partially pulled out of the receptacle.
  • a cover 10 is fixedly arranged in the housing above the chambers 8, 8 '.
  • the cover 10 is double-walled with a substantially horizontally extending top wall 12 and a bottom wall 14 arranged at a distance therefrom.
  • a cavity formed by the two walls 12, 14 is delimited by side walls 16, 18 and a rear end wall 22, 22 '.
  • two partition walls 26, 28 extending in the longitudinal direction of the cover 10, the latter is divided into two substantially identical dimensions water guide channels 30, 30 'and an intermediate water guide channel 32.
  • Corresponding parts of both water channels 30, 30 ' are given the same reference numerals in the following.
  • Each of the water channels 30, 30 ' is assigned to a chamber 8 arranged below it; the water channel 32 is assigned to the chamber 8 '.
  • each of the water guide channels 30, 30 '32 can be supplied with cold and / or hot water via one or two fresh water nozzles 34, 36 or 40, 42.
  • the water guide channel 32 can be acted upon with water via a fresh water nozzle 38.
  • a free flow path 46 is formed between the fresh water nozzles 34 to 42 and an inclined inlet edge 44 of the lid 10, which is in line with the Connects bottom wall 14, a free flow path 46 is formed. Leakage water accumulating there can be discharged into the tub via an outlet 48.
  • spray openings 50 are arranged and aligned in the water guide channels 30, 30' and 32 in such a way that an essentially residue-free flushing in of the chambers 8, 8 contained detergent or the like is possible.
  • a drain opening 52 is provided in the water guide channel 32. Through this, water can run off via a drain channel 56 in a wall 54 of the chamber 8 'into the bottom region of the chamber 8'.
  • the ends of the openings 68 located in the direction of action are followed by guide lugs 70, 70 ′ which run in a V-shaped manner in the direction of action.
  • the part of the guide walls 64, 66 which adjoins the openings 68 or the guide lugs 70, 70 'in the direction of loading can be arranged such that the distance between the guide walls 64, 66 is increased there.
  • Each of the water guide channels 30, 30 'furthermore has a central wall 72 which extends from the end of the water guide channels 30, 30' opposite the fresh water nozzles 34 to 42 into the region of the openings 68.
  • the space formed behind the openings 68 between the guide walls 64, 66 in the direction of loading has a cross-sectional constriction 74, which is formed by an extension 76 formed on the bottom wall 14.
  • a further cross-sectional constriction 78 is formed, which is formed by a wall 80 which is essentially symmetrical and runs transversely to the direction of action.
  • the wall 80 has two sections which adjoin the side wall 18 or the partition wall 28 and run essentially V-shaped to one another in the direction of loading and a section 80 'connecting them and concavely curved to the guide walls 64, 66.
  • the cross-sectional constrictions 74, 78 influence the flow entering the water guide channels 30, 30 'via the fresh water nozzles 34, 36 or 40, 42 in such a way that a substantially uniform speed and Pressure distribution results, so that essentially all spray openings 50 can be acted upon with water uniformly or in a predeterminable manner. This leads to an essentially residue-free flushing of detergent or the like from chambers 8 into the tub. No spray openings 50 are provided in the space between the guide walls 64, 66; a main flow formed therein cannot be influenced by any pressure drop caused by spray openings.
  • closed flows B, B ' are slightly asymmetrical due to this one-sided action; symmetrical closed flows would be possible with simultaneous action via fresh water nozzles 34, 36.
  • the formation of closed flows B, B ' is supported by the curvature of the rear end wall 22' concave to the guide walls 64, 66.
  • the return of a water portion through the openings 68 can be promoted by the formation of a negative pressure. This can be done, for example, by arranging the cross-sectional constriction 74 in this way becomes that the negative pressure generated by it can propagate into the area of the openings 68.
  • the essentially uniform velocity and thus also pressure distribution outside the area of the water guide channels 30, 30 'formed between the guide walls 64, 66 is further promoted.
  • the formation of uniform flow conditions can be achieved largely independently of the water pressure of the water that can be supplied via the fresh water nozzles 34 to 42. B. can assume values in a range from 1 bar to 10 bar.
  • the substantially uniform pressure distribution within the areas of the water guide channels 30, 30 'provided with spray openings 50 enables the chambers 8, including their wall areas, to be acted upon in a substantially uniform manner. Detergent or the like present in the chambers 8 can thus be rinsed out essentially without residue into the outlet 48 and further into the tub.
