Description

The invention relates to a floor mopping device with an articulated handle holder for a device handle, arranged centrally on a large-area wiper.

Floor mopping devices with damp mop covers, such as mops, have recently been used increasingly for wet, semi-wet and wet mopping, for floor disinfection cleaning in hospitals and for emulsion application on floors.

Such wipers often have to be switched off or put down during the wiping process due to work-related interruptions. For example, when applying emulsions, emulsions are poured in portions from a large container (approx. 10 1-can) onto the floor and then distributed in sections with the wiper. During the pouring of the emulsion, however, the wiper must be set aside each time. For this purpose, the entire length of the mopping device, ie also with its handle, can be placed on the floor. This procedure is very cumbersome, however, since each time the wiping is interrupted, the cleaning staff has to bend down and the wiper must be resumed for the further wiping process. In addition be there is an increased risk of stumbling and thus an accident due to the mopping device lying on the floor.

The wiper can of course also be parked upright. To do this, the handle must be leaned against a wall or other vertical surface. Especially in large rooms to be cleaned, this means that the cleaning staff frequently runs unproductive back and forth. In addition, leaning the wiping device against a smooth, vertical wall is extremely unstable due to the mostly cardanic connection of the wiping devices to the device handles. Because of the force of gravity, the handle tilts not only in the ajar direction, but also also laterally, so that the handle can tip and fall to the ground if the leaning is not absolutely straight.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a solution which enables a safe, upright parking of a floor mopping device without additional vertical support.

This object is achieved according to the invention with a floor mopping device of the type described in the introduction that an axis with a U-shaped bracket is mounted in a horizontal bore through the device handle, offset by 90 ° to the longitudinal direction of the device, directly above the articulated handle holder such that the U-bridge of the bracket rests on the wiper, a support surface for the U-web of the bracket being provided at a distance from the handle holder on the wiper surface.

The wiper device according to the invention can be parked with the handle upright on a horizontal surface without additional vertical support, provided that the surface of the wiper is sufficiently large. To do this, the handle is deflected from the vertical position until the U-web that slides on the wiper surface reaches the support surface. The U-bridge is based on this support surface, so that the handle of the mopping device remains in an upright position.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the invention provides that the support surface is provided as a recess in the wiper surface running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the wiper, the width of which corresponds to the diameter of the U-web of the bracket in such a way that the U-web can be snapped into the recess is. According to this embodiment of the invention, the U-web of the bracket can not only lean on the support surface, but also snaps into the recess, so that a firm connection is created. To release this stand connection, the handle is returned from its slight inclination to its vertical position. As a result, the bracket slides out of the recess and the device is ready for use again.

In a further embodiment, the invention provides that the axis with the U-shaped bracket can be stored in a handle mounting hole. The axis also serves as a connecting element between the handle holder and the wiper handle.

The invention provides different materials for the U-shaped bracket. In addition to a round steel, a rectangular flat steel and an impact-resistant plastic are also suitable.

  • Fig. 2 dasselbe Wischgerät in einer Draufsicht.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, for example, which shows in
  • Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation in a side view of a wiper according to the invention with a U-shaped bracket and in
  • Fig. 2 shows the same wiper in a plan view.

A floor wiper device 1 consists of a large-area wiper 2 with a centrally arranged, articulated handle holder 3 with a handle holder bore 4 and a device handle 5 with a horizontal bore 6 offset by 90 ° to the longitudinal direction of the device. The wiper device 1 also has a surface of Wiper 2 has a recess 7 running transversely to the longitudinal axis of wiper 4 and a U-shaped bracket 8 with a web 9 and with an axis 10 mounted in the handle bore 6.

Die Wirkungsweise der Erfindung ist die folgende:The operation of the invention is as follows:

When working, the handle 5 is in a vertical position. The web 9 of the U-shaped bracket 8 lies on the surface of the wiper 2 between the handle holder 3 and the recess 7. To switch off the wiper device 1, the handle 5 is now deflected in the direction of the recess 7 from the vertical. The web 9 of the U-shaped bracket 8 slides on the surface of the wiper 2 in the direction of the recess 7. As soon as the handle 5 is deflected far enough, the web 9 reaches the recess 7 and engages in it. As a result, the handle 5 remains with and on the large-area wiper 2 at a slight incline. As soon as the mopping device 1 is to be used again, the handle 5 is moved back from its inclined position into the vertical, whereby the web 9 slides out of the recess 7, so that the mopping device 1 is ready for use again.

The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown in the drawing. So further embodiments of the invention are possible without the Grundge thank you leave. Instead of the recess in the wiper surface, for example, a correspondingly designed web can also be provided at the same point on the wiper surface.
