Abstract

Der durch einen elektrischen Motor angetriebene Kolben­ kompressor hat vier gasseitig in Serie geschaltete Zylinder (1,2,3,4) mit je einem darin geführten Kolben (7,12,28,32). Jeweils zwei Kolben (7,12 bzw. 28,32) sind auf einer gemeinsamen Achse einander gegenüberliegend, mit ihren Kolbenstangen (8,13,29) über ein Joch (9 bzw. 30) zu einem Paar miteinander verbunden. Die Achsen (5,6) der beiden so gebildeten Kolbenpaare kreuzen einander und jedes Kolbenpaar ist in einer im wesentlichen horizonta­ len Ebene angeordnet. In den beiden Jochen (9,30) der Kolbenpaare greift unter Zwischenschaltung eines Gleit­ stückes (11,31) ein gemeinsamer Kurbelzapfen (10) als Antriebsmittel an. Das zu verdichtende Gas wird auf der dem Kompressionsraum (15) der ersten Verdichtungsstufe abgewendeten Kolbenseite über mindestens ein im Kolben (7) angeordnetes Saugventil (18) zugeführt und der Antriebsmotor ist für den Kompressor unterhalb der horizontalen Ebenen der beiden Kolbenpaare (7,12; 28,32) angeordnet.
