Die gestellte Aufgabe wird auf der Basis der eingangs bezeichneten Gattung erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß in einem Bedienfeld mehrere übereinander angeordnete Gattungs-Funktionszeilen gebildet sind, daß jeder Gattungs-Funktionszeile eine Bezeichnung zugeordnet ist, daß alle Bezeichnungen übereinanderliegend eine Gattungs-Spalte bilden, daß innerhalb einer Gattungs-Funktionszeile eine oder mehrere, der betreffenden Gattung zuzuordnende Einzelfunktionen bezeichnet sind und daß in jeder Spalte für die Einzelfunktionen und in der Gattungs-Spalte jeweils nur eine Auslösetaste vorgesehen ist und daß die Auslösetaste für die Gattungsspalte einen Stufenschalter zur Anwahl der Funktionszeilen betätigt. Diese Lösung ordnet miteinander in Beziehung stehende Funktionen einer Gattungs-Funktionszeile zu und ordnet die waagerechten Funktionen derart, daß senkrechte Spalten entstehen, denen jeweils nur eine Taste zugeordnet ist. Auf diese Weise wird das Bedienfeld erheblich in der Anzahl der aufzunehmenden Funktionen erweitert, ohne eine größere Fläche zu beanspruchen. Gleichzeitig wird das Bedienfeld übersichtlicher, was für visuell weniger günstig veranlagte Bediener das Auffinden gewünschter Funktionen erheblich erleichtert. - Control panel for printers, in particular for matrix printers, with displays and actuating members, for example for starting or stopping the printer, for connecting the printer to a data source, for the paper feed, for the end of the paper, for line spacing, for paper positioning, for the programming of the printer, for test mode, printing quality and the like, the control area being divided into horizontal lines and vertical columns, characterised in that in one control area (1), several generic function lines (2, 3, 4, 4a) arranged one above the other are formed, that associated with each generic function line (2 to 4a) is a designation (5), that all the designations (5) lying one above the other form a generic column (6), that within one generic function line (2 to 4a) one or more individual functions (7, 8, 9) to be associated with the respective genus are designated and that in each column (10, 11, 12) for the individual functions (7, 8, 9) and in the generic column (6) in each case only one actuating key (13 to 16) is provided and that the actuating key (16) for the generic column (6) actuates a step switch (16a) for selecting the function lines (2, 3, 4, 4a).
- Control panel according to Claim 1, characterised in that a first partial control area (17) arranged according to function groups and a second partial control area (18) reserved for mixed functions are provided.
- Control panel according to Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that associated with each individual function (7 to 9) is a characterising means (19) and that the characterising means (19) consists of a light-emitting diode (20) or of an illuminated area.
- Control panel according to Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that provided in the second partial control area (18) are means and/or characterising means (19) for a condition indication.
- Control panel according to Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that in the second partial control area (18), the mixed functions are arranged in a column (21) and that the actuating key (22) is likewise connected to a step switch (22a).
