- Such a machine is, for example, constituted by a frame comprising a flat bearing face of a tile to be cut, by at least one guide rail which extends parallel to said bearing face of the frame, which is spaced apart of this support face and which has a lower face parallel to said support face, and, by a cutting tool support, on which is effectively mounted a cutting tool, which is mounted on said rail to be pivotally guided relative to this rail parallel to a plane perpendicular to the support surface of the frame and parallel to the rail and which comprises a support member capable of being in contact with said underside of the rail so as to limit the movement of the tool support in the direction opposite to the support face of the frame and to allow a bracing and pivoting of this support towards this support face of the frame capable of generating a thrust of the tool cut to the tile to be cut and placed on the support face d u frame, between this bearing face and the guide rail.
