Bei bekannten Faltschachtelzuschnitten aus Wellpappe oder dergl. Material sind die Krempellaschen so ausgebildet, daß sie umgeschlagen bis zum Schachtelboden reichen. Derartige Krempellaschen besitzen an den dem Schachtelboden zugewandten Ende Laschen, Nasen oder dergl., die in Schlitze des Schachtelbodens einrastend eingreifen, damit die Laschen nicht aufspringen. Bei hohen Schachteln ist hierbei der Materialverbrauch für die langen Krempellaschen ganz erheblich. Weiterhin stellen die Schlitze im Schachtelboden eine entscheidende Beeinträchtigung der Festigkeit und Belastbarkeit der Schachtel dar. Die Ausbildung der Schlitze im Schachtelboden ist weiterhin in vielen Fällen unerwünscht, und die durch die Schlitze gesteckten Laschen stören häufig. Diese Verriegelungselemente sind beispielsweise als zackenförmige, wellenförmige, mäanderförmige oder dergl. Linien ausgebildet. Die Verzahnung erfolgt dabei ausschließlich an den Ecken der Stanzpackung, so daß an den Verzahnungsstellen ein kontinuierlicher Übergang zwischen den Verriegelungselementen zweier benachbarter Verzahnungslinien erhalten wird. Die Verriegelungselemente bzw. Verzahnungslinien können beispielsweise verstärkt ausgebildet sein, um bei weichen Materialieneine bessere Aussteifung der Verzahnungen zu gewährleisten.
