Abstract

1. Anti-theft display cabinet consisting of a cabinet (4) containing a number of columns (1) which can be moved vertically each of which is capable of holding a stock of articles (6), these articles can be dispensed by a withdrawal opening (2) at the base of each column, restocking being carried out by a restocking opening (3) in the top of each column, and elements for shutting the withdrawal openings (2) and for blocking the vertical movement of the columns (1), characterized in that the columns (1) are mounted in the cabinet (4) in such a way that they are capable of being disengaged, that the element for shutting the withdrawal openings (2) is formed by at least one bar (15) capable of being slid vertically and attached to the closing bar (5) by a chassis (14), such that in the lower position of the elements (5, 15) the display cabinet is locked, the closing element (5) being located in front of the withdrawal openings (2) and the locking element (15) being located immediately above the columns (1) in such a way that these cannot be unhooked.
