Abstract

1. A vapour escape hood or vapour filter hood for fixing in or between top cupboards of unit or built-in kitchen furniture, consisting of a housing from the side walls of which there project holding means causing a widening of the housing, characterised by the following features : - the holding means are constructed in the form of a frame (5, 5') open towards the back of the housing, - in the installed state, the housing (1) is pushed with its lefthand-side and righthand-side frame (5, 5') on or over separate wall members (7, 7') each secured to a wall of the top cupboards and is braced to this wall member, - the two wall members (7, 7') form the lateral outer closing walls for the housing (1).

Die Dunstabzugs- oder filterhaube ist dabei mit ihren Gehäuse-Seitenwänden unmittelbar mit den benachbarten Wänden des Oberschrankes oder Anbaueinheiten mittels Schraubelemente verspannt. Es ist auch bekannt (DE-A-2 903 382) zur Anbringung der Dunstabzugs- oder -filterhaube zwischen Schrankwänden spezielle Montage- bzw. Halteschienen einzusetzen, die an den Schrankwänden befestigt sind und in denen die Dunstabzugs- oder -filterhaube mit seitlich an deren Gehäusewandungen angebrachter Tragbleche eingeschoben und durch eine Arretierung gesichert ist. Bei der erstgenannten Befestigungsart muss die Dunstabzugs- oder -filterhaube von einer zweiten Person zwischen die Schrankwände gehalten werden, damit die Befestigungslöcher angerissen werden können. Auch beim anschliessenden Anschrauben der Dunstabzugs- oder -filterhaube ist die Hilfe einer zweiten Person zum Halten des Gerätes erforderlich. Diese Montageart ist daher äusserst umständlich und auch aufwendig. Beim Einsatz spezieller Montage- bzw. Halteschienen für die Dunstabzugs- oder -filterhaube kann wohl bei der Montage auf die Mitwirkung einer weiteren Person verzichtet werden, jedoch ist die Fertigung und Bereitstellung der mit dem Gerät zu liefernden speziellen zusätzlichen Montage- bzw. Besondere zusätzliche Trage-oder Haltemittel sind ebenfalls nicht erforderlich, da durch die spezielle Ausbildung der Seitenwände der Dunstabzugs- oder -filterhaube diese Wände die Trage- und Haltefunktion mit übernehmen. Darüberhinaus gestattet die vorgeschlagene Anbringungsmethode eine gewisse Tiefenverschiebbarkeit des Gerätes während der Montage oder Wartung. Der vordere, senkrechte Teil des Seitenrahmens 5 bzw. 5' ist im oberen und unteren Bereich mit je einer Querschlitzbohrung 6, 6' versehen. Mit 7, 7' ist je eine äussere separate Seitenwand bezeichnet, die innerhalb ihrer Fläche mit mehreren Anschraubbohrungen 8 zum Befestigen dieser an der benachbarten Seitenwand des jeweiligen Oberschrankes 2 bzw. 3 versehen ist.
