Description
L'invention est relative à un dispositif de fixation rapide selon le préambule de la revendication 1.The invention relates to a quick fixing device according to the preamble of claim 1.
Document US-A-3,745,796 describes a device for quickly fixing a cover by a quarter-turn screw having a head on which is pivotally mounted an operating lever.
The lever carries a finger which is housed in the folded position in a recess in the cover to lock the lever. By tilting the lever, it is possible to unlock it by extracting the finger from the recess and turn it with the quarter-turn screw. This multi-piece device is not inviolable and the lever can be detached from the screw by simple withdrawal of the hinge pin, which allows actuation of the screw using pliers.
The lever is locked by a fragile finger which is practically inaccessible for possible sealing.
A terminal cover must avoid contact with live parts and must also allow sealing to prevent access to the terminals and therefore fraud. To this end, the fixing screw generally has a hole for the passage of the sealing wire passing through a conjugate hole secured to the cover. When the head of the screw is buried in the terminal cover, the installation of the sealing wire is difficult and the wire can be insufficiently stretched to avoid a partial rotation of the screw sometimes sufficient for the release of the terminal cover and disassembly. Such a fixing is therefore not foolproof and it requires a screwdriver for the installation and removal of the terminal cover.
Another method of attachment makes use of simple screws requiring several rotational turns for attachment and therefore being tamper-proof. The fixing operation is however long and also requires a screwdriver.
The operating lever is foldable in a groove of the terminal cover, and in this folded position, it locks the screw in the position for fixing the terminal cover on the housing of the electrical appliance. To release the terminal cover, simply tilt the lever out of the groove and turn it to pivot the screw a quarter of a turn to the release position of the terminal cover. These operations are particularly simple and quick and do not require any operating tool. The lever and the screw are in a single piece molded in plastic, the articulation of the lever being produced by a thinned connecting part between the head of the screw and the lever.
According to a development of the invention, the sealing wire retains the lever in its folded position inside the groove preventing any extraction of this lever and therefore any rotation of the screw. The sealing hole is formed in the vicinity of the free end of the lever which performs a large tilting and rotation stroke for the release of the terminal cover.
- la figure 1 est une coupe partielle suivant la ligne I-I de la fig. 2, d'un cache-bornes équipé d'un dispositif de fixation selon l'invention, représenté en position de fixation ;
- la figure 2 est une vue en plan de la fig. 1 ;
- la figure 3 est une coupe suivant la ligne III-III de la fig. 1, montrant la vis de fixation engagé dans le logement correspondant du boîtier de l'appareil électrique ;
- Figure 1 is a partial section along line II of FIG. 2, a terminal cover fitted with a fixing device according to the invention, shown in the fixing position;
- FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1;
- Figure 3 is a section along line III-III of FIG. 1, showing the fixing screw engaged in the corresponding housing of the housing of the electrical appliance;
- Figure 4 is a view similar to that of Fig .. 3, showing the fixing screw in the released position.
In the figures, a
- In the fixing position, shown in Figure 1, the
screw 12 secures theterminal cover 10 to thehousing 13 of the circuit breaker, thecleat 20 being engaged in the conjugate part of the housing of the circuit breaker. Thelever 22 is inserted into thegroove 24 and immobilizes thescrew 12 in rotation. Thelever 22 can be sealed in this position by simple introduction of a sealing wire into the 36, 38. To remove theorifices terminal cover 10, it suffices to break the sealing wire and extract thelever 22 from thegroove 24 by simple tilting as indicated by the arrow and in dotted lines in FIG. 1. As soon as thelever 22 is extracted from thegroove 24 it is possible to rotate it by driving thescrew 12 in rotation by a quarter turn bringing out thecleat 20 and releasing thecover 10 of thehousing 13. This operation requires no tools and is extremely fast . The establishment of theterminal cover 10 is effected by a reverse operation of the establishment of theterminal cover 10 and rotation of thescrew 12 to engage thecleat 20. Thereafter, it suffices to insert thelever 22 into thegroove 24 for locking thescrew 12 in the aforementioned manner.
The installation of the sealing wire is simple despite the fact that no part of the
