Claims (1)
- Sheet-fed in-line rotary printing machine with at least two printing units (1 to 4) in which the sheet (8) to be printed can be conveyed by an impression cylinder (10, 12, 18, 24) past a blanket cylinder (6, 13, 20, 25) co-operating with a plate cylinder (5, 14, 21, 26) respectively for applying a recto-print, wherein for recto- and verso-printing, sheets (8) are respectively fed to the first printing unit (1) only at every second rotation of the printing cylinders, characterised in that in the recto- and verso-printing mode the sheet (8) to be printed can be transferred from the impression cylinder (10) to the blanket cylinder (6) and in order to apply a dilitho verso print can be conveyed past the dilitho plate cylinder (5) associated with this, and in that the sheet (8) can then be taken up again by the impression cylinder (10) and is transported out of the printing unit by it, and in that the dilitho plate cylinder (5) is lifted from the blanket cylinder (6) when the latter is not conveying a sheet and the subsequently connected blanket cylinders (13, 20, 25) are respectively lifted from the associated impression cylinders (12, 18, 24) when the latter are not conveying any sheets (8).
