Abstract

The invention consists of a protective internal coating for restoring underground metal tanks or any other tank subject to attack of aggressive agents, said coating consisting of a structure of alternate layers of an epoxy resin paint and a fabric cloth of fiberglass or polymers with high elasticity modulus, on which a onal overlay of vitrifying paint is applied, so as to form an internal shell having chemical and mechani­ cal features independent from those of the tank, and eliminat­ ing leakage of the tank contents.
