Abstract

A video display system suitable for use in video games includes a store for storing information to be displayed, a video controller for selecting from the store a plurality of dots on a raster scan display on which the information is obtained from the store is passed to a parallel to serial converter to provide data on each dot sequentially to the raster scan display.
