5. A fuel-injection system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the injection valves (3) are axially secured by means of spring clips (2), which bear against radial faces of the injection valves (3) and against the flanges (6, 9) which they straddle.
6. A fuel -injection system according to Claim 5, characterized in that
- the spring clips (2) have a substantially flat U-shape,
- the limbs (16) of which each co-operate with and latch on to an injection nozzle (3), and in that
- a portion (18), projecting at right angles to the planes of the U-shape, is integrally formed with each limb (16) at the outside edge thereof,
- which portion has an inwardly inclined tab (19) which bears against the flange (6) of the distributor pipe (1).
