Claims (7)

1. Vérin pneumatique possédant une tige de piston (23), solidaire du piston (13) et faisant saillie à l'extérieur, dont la course peut être limitée par des butées réglables (17.18) situées à l'extérieur du tube cylindrique formant le corps (10) du vérin, caractérisé en ce qu'un prolongement (14) relié au piston (13) fait saillie à l'extérieur à travers une fente longitudinale étanchée qui est ménagée dans la paroi du corps (10) du vérin et que les butées (17, 18) sont situées dans la zone de mouvement du prolongement.
2. Vérin selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que deux butées sont prévues pour régler la course du piston dans les deux directions.
3. Vérin selon la revendication 1 et/ou 2, caractérisé en ce que chaque butée est disposée sur une broche (19) s'étendant le long du corps du vérin.
4. Vérin selon une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la broche est filetée et est entraînée en rotation par un moteur, en particulier un moteur électrique.
5. Vérin selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que le moteur d'entraînement (20) peut être commandé à volonté, par exemple selon un programme déterminé.
6. Vérin selon une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce qu'un dispositif d'amortissement (21) coopérant avec le prolongement (14) est disposé sur la butée (17,18).
7. Vérin selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le prolongement (14) est combiné avec un dispositif pour indiquer la position du piston (13), ce dispositif étant formé par exemple d'une courroie crantée ou d'un ruban d'acier menant à un indicateur de rotation fixe, ou par des capteurs conjugués à une règle codée fixe, ou encore par un ruban d'acier codé conjugué à des capteurs fixes.
