Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum elektrisch leitenden Anklemmen einer isolierten dünnen Kabelader an ein aufrechtstehendes Kontaktelement der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Gattung.The invention relates to a device for electrically conductive connection of an insulated thin cable to an upstanding contact element of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
Aus der US-A-3 946 476 ist bereits eine gattungsgleiche Vorrichtung bekannt, die zum gleichzeitigen Anklemmen von zwei isolierten dünnen Kabeladern in zwei benachbarte aufrechtstehende Kontaktelemente dient. Jeweils zwei Kabeladern werden von dieser Vorrichtung erfasst, in benachbarte Anschlussklemmen beispielsweise eines Fernmelde-Verteilers eingeschoben und anschliessend an einer Seite der Anschlussklemme abgeschnitten. Die Vorichtung weist einen in einem Handgriff angeordneten Stössel auf, dessen frei vorstehendes Ende von einer gegenüber diesem längsverschiebbaren Hülse umgeben ist. Im frei vorstehenden Endteil der Hülse sind in einer Hülsenwand jeweils zwei Paare von Längsschlitzen vorgesehen. In der gegenüberliegenden Wand des vorstehenden Hülsenendes befindet sich eine Bohrung zur Aufnahme der Kabelader, welche beim Eindrücken der Kabelader in die Anschlussklemme als Schneidkante zum Abtrennen eines Kabelendes wirkt. Eine seitliche Abstützung der elastisch spreizbaren Zungen des Kontaktelementes beim Einschieben der Kabelader in dessen Längsschlitz ist jedoch mit dieser bekannten Vorrichtung nicht möglich, weil das Kontaktelement weder von der Hülse, noch vom Druckstück am Ende des Stössels umfasst wird.From US-A-3 946 476 a generic device is already known, which is used for the simultaneous connection of two insulated thin cable wires in two adjacent upstanding contact elements. A lateral support of the elastically expandable tongues of the contact element when inserting the cable core in its longitudinal slot is not possible with this known device, because the contact element is neither encompassed by the sleeve nor by the pressure piece at the end of the plunger.

Die in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte Vorrichtung besteht aus einem sich stufenweise verjüngenden Stössel 1, der sich mit seinem hinteren verdickten Endteil an einer in einem Hohlraum eines Gehäuses 5 angeordneten Schraubenfeder 4 abstützt. Die vorderen und mittleren Teile des Stössels 1 sind in einer Hülse 2 längsverschiebbar geführt. Am vorderen Endteil des Stössels 1 ist ferner ein Druckstück 1 a ausgebildet, das - wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich - einen von zwei Profilstegen 1 begrenzten schrägen Längsschlitz 1 c aufweist. Das vordere Endteil 3 der mit ihrem verbreiterten rückwärtigen Teil im Gehäuse 5 festgelegten Hülse 2 ragt in der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Position über die Stirnkante des Druckstückes 1 a hinaus. In jedem Schenkel 13 dieses Anschlusselementes 11 ist ein Längsschlitz 13a von vorbestimmter Länge vorgesehen (vgl. Fig. 3a, 3b), dessen abgerundeter Boden das Widerlager für die Isolierung der Kabelader im voll eingedrückten Zustand bildet. Die Funktionsweise der erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung ist folgende:

Die Längsschlitze in der Hülse sind so gewählt, dass sich durch eine weitere Vorschubbewegung dasDruckstück 1 a in der in Fig. 3 dargestellten Weise auf die mittleren Teile der Kabelader abstützt und die Kabelader bis zum Boden derSchlitze 13a in das Anschlusselement hineindrückt.
