Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a hollow form stone for the installation of embankments according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
  • embankment stones made of concrete which are suitable for fastening embankments.
  • These embankment stones consist of a base plate connecting one end wall and two side walls. This bottom plate has on its underside two channel-shaped depressions that run parallel to the side walls and continue through the end wall. When layering, the depressions are placed over the side walls of the lower row, so that there is a toothing. While such embankment stones are very suitable for dry laying of retaining walls or the like, they cannot be used very well for the installation of bank embankments in the area of the water level, because they can never form a seal against the grown or heaped up soil.
  • embankment stone with a transverse wall parallel to the front wall and wing-like side bars on the outside promised success, according to a prospectus draft by the applicant entitled "the water spoon” from 1976.
  • embankment stones are of course considerably more expensive; but they can be easily greened from the water line and below the water line the pools separated by the transverse wall serve to calm the waves, or the depressions can be filled with bulging stones to increase the weight of the embankment stones.
  • the end wall 10 is designed in the shape of a shield as a semicircular plate, which faces the outer surface of the side walls 12, 13 has an overhang 15 and an excess height 20 with respect to the upper edges of said side walls 12, 13.
  • the trough 16 formed by the side walls 12, 13 and the bottom wall 11 is divided into two approximately identical parts by a transverse wall 17 (FIG. 1).
  • the side walls in the region of the transverse wall 17 carry two supporting walls 18, 19 which are arranged offset with respect to one another in such a way that they engage behind one another when mold hollow blocks are lined up.
  • the overhang 15 of the end face 10 is smaller than the lateral extent of the support walls 18, 19.
  • these overhangs 15 and retaining walls 18, 19 are easy to see. If the hollow form stones are laid with laterally abutting end walls, the backward slope is formed on the one hand by the troughs 16 and on the other hand by the side walls and the support walls 18, 19 engaging behind one another, in which the water is collected and the soil behind the shaped hollow stones can't wash out. In the case of concave curvatures, the end walls remain adjacent to one another and the support walls can be pulled apart until they just touch. On the other hand, with a convex curvature, the end walls can be pulled apart and the support walls remain in engagement with one another.
  • the overhangs, together with the support walls 18, 19, also allow the stones to be laid loosely and thus to make the bank fastening cheaper.
  • Fig. 3-5 show a layering of hollow form stones in loosened laying in elevation, plan and in cross section.
  • the transverse wall 21 is not formed in one piece with the side walls and the bottom wall, but is manufactured as a separate part, for the mounting of which the side walls 12, 13 each have a bead 22, 23 on their inside with a perpendicular to the Have bottom wall standing groove 25.
  • the advantage of such an embodiment can be seen in the fact that the hollow form stones above the normal water level can be completely filled with soil and then planted, whereby a biological connection with the grown soil is formed within a short time and still no flooding of the soil can occur during floods, because the protection against tearing water through the overhangs and the excess height on the one hand and the Retaining walls remain on the other hand.
  • Both embodiments of the proposed hollow form are of course also suitable for normal retaining walls, in particular in the case of loose soil or in the case of very damp underground, the long trough part with the retaining walls can be used for a heavyweight wall.
