Description

The invention relates to a device for washing long webs, in particular textile webs.

Textile webs must be washed after dyeing and / or finishing. For this purpose, the webs are introduced and washed there in drum washing machines known per se with a sieve drum. Such drum washing machines are relatively expensive, the introduction and removal of the web to be washed in the drum washing machine and the washing process takes a relatively long time and the washed web must then be smoothed again and possibly rolled into a wrap or bale. All of this is expensive.

The object of the invention is to provide a device for washing long webs, in particular textile webs, which requires less effort for the handling of the webs and in which the webs are washed in a shorter time.

This object is achieved with a device for Washing long webs, in particular textile webs, which is characterized by a substantially vertically extending housing which is set up for the passage of the web and has a water inlet in the region of the upper end, which has collecting surfaces for the washing water running off and leading edges for the edges of the collecting surfaces has to be washed web.

In this device, the web to be washed is not introduced into a drum or chamber and pulsed back and forth there, but is guided past the leading edges of the collecting surfaces, the web and the wash water being guided in countercurrent as it were, so that the prewashing is already largely complete soiled wash water begins and the overlying wash - stages each receive less polluted water on the guide edges of the collection surfaces, while the last washing stage receives fresh wash water. The washing effect is essentially based on the fact that the washing water running off forms vortices in the area of the leading edges, which contribute to the washing effect to a considerable extent, which also results in a considerable reduction in the washing time. The leading edges simultaneously wipe off excess water or prevent the web from carrying excess water with it. Therefore, the residual moisture of the web is comparatively low after leaving the device.

The web to be washed, if it is rolled up on a wrap or bale, can be pulled off this wrap or bale, passed through the device and then, if necessary after a drying process, rolled up again.

The leading edges of the collecting surfaces are expediently arranged such that they define a zigzag path for the web. The web that is introduced into the device via an inlet opening of the housing and pulled out of the device via an outlet opening of the housing is then guided within the housing in a more or less zigzag-shaped way, alternately resting against the guide edges and tensioned comparatively smoothly between adjacent guide edges is so that "each leading edge not only forms a pre-washer but also a scraper at the same time because of the vortices formed on it. It goes without saying that the leading edges are designed and rounded in such a way that mechanical stress on the web is largely avoided.

The water inlet is basically arbitrary. It can be sufficient to simply let wash water run into the housing from above. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, however, at least two washing nozzle arrangements arranged on different sides of a guide path of the web to be washed and in the direction of movement of the web with mutual spacing can be provided as the water inlet. The washing nozzles of these washing nozzle arrangements can each be directed towards the guide path. Each wash nozzle arrangement should have at least the width of the guide path and a slot die or a row of individual wash nozzles. An embodiment is advantageous in which each washing nozzle arrangement consists of a tubular or box-shaped body which has openings serving as washing nozzles on its sides facing the guide path, ie the web. The conditions are particularly favorable when the route facing side of each washing nozzle arrangement is formed by walls which are arranged at an angle to one another and define a recess on this side, the walls ending at edges which extend transversely to the direction of movement of the web and are connected there to further walls. Then the edges can in turn be designed as leading edges for the web to be washed. Since the water sprayed from the nozzles against the web is distributed within the recess formed in this way, strong vortices form in particular in the corner regions, that is to say in the region of the edges, which contribute significantly to the washing effect and which have a similar effect to the leading edges of the collecting surfaces .

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the washing nozzle arrangements are arranged vertically one above the other. They are surrounded by a housing, which has the collecting areas for the running water. The collecting surfaces are preferably inclined at an angle of 45 degrees to the horizontal and guide the running water into the area of the leading edges, where the strong vortices mentioned at the beginning form.

Im folgenden wird ein in der Zeichnung dargestelltes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung erläutert; es zeigt die einzige Figur in schematischer Darstellung eine Vorrichtung zum Waschen langer textiler Bahnen. bzw. vorbehandeltIn the following an embodiment of the invention shown in the drawing is explained; it shows the only figure in a schematic representation of a device for washing long textile webs. or pretreated

A textile web 1, which has been dyed and finished / is introduced into the device via a deflection roller 2 and a lower inlet opening 3, is guided through the device in a substantially vertical path, washed there and then through an upper outlet opening 4 and one Deflection roller 5 from the Vortex formation in the area of the leading edges. water drains from the collecting surfaces 17, it cleans the web 1 guided past the leading edges 18.

The web 1 fed through the insertion opening 3 is subjected to largely used washing water which runs over the lowest collecting surface 17 and forms a strong vortex in the area of the associated guide edges, which at least loosens dirt particles adhering to the web 1, but also partially takes them along. When the web, which is essentially smoothly stretched between the leading edges 18, reaches the area of the next leading edge, it is already washed with less soiled washing water. This continues on the vertical path of the web 1 through the device, whereby strong vortices arise in the area of the leading edges 18, which effectively support the laundry. Finally, the web 1 passes into the region of the W aschdüsenanordnungen 6.7 and is loaded there with pure washing water. The washing action is based on the one hand on the action of the jets emerging from the nozzles 12 and on the other hand on the formation of eddies in the area of the guide edges 13, 14 of these washing nozzle arrangements. Thereafter, the web is largely cleaned so that it can be guided out of the device on wipers 23, 24, which delimit the upper outlet opening 4. It has been shown that at a total height of approximately 0.6 meters of the device, high web speeds are possible without the washing effect being impaired. It has been found that the washing effect is improved with increasing web speed. This may be due to the influence of the web on the Position of the figure has two housing walls 15, 16, which are essentially mirror images. In the upper housing sections enclosing the washing nozzle arrangements 6, 7, the walls have an approximately trapezoidal cross section. The lower trapezoidal surfaces define collecting surfaces 17, which end at guide edges 18 in the region of the path of the web 1. Essentially horizontal wall sections 19 adjoin the guide edges 18, from which, in turn, collecting surfaces 17 with subsequent guide edges 18 are inclined to the horizontal, preferably at an angle of 45 degrees. The result is the sawtooth-shaped configuration shown in the figure, in which the collecting surfaces 17 and the guide edges 18 of the two housing walls 15, 16 are offset from one another in the vertical direction. The arrangement in detail is such that the leading edges 18 of the collecting surfaces 17 as well as the edges 13, 14 of the washing nozzle arrangements 6, 7 define a zigzag path for the web 1 to be washed. It is understood that the guide edges are rounded and designed so that the mechanical stress on the web 1 remains low.

At the lower end, the housing walls 15, 16 form collecting containers 20, each with a water drain, not shown. Each collecting container 20 has an inclined bottom plate 21, which ends at a scraper 22 which delimits the inlet opening 3 and lies against the corresponding side of the web 1.

It can be seen that the washing water emerging from the washing nozzle arrangements 6, 7 runs in a cascade manner over the individual collecting surfaces 17 into the collecting container 20, from which it is then discharged. While the washing To better understand the mode of operation, the upper part of the device with the last washing stage is described first. In the upper part of the device there are two washing nozzle arrangements 6, 7 which are connected to one or more pumps, not shown, the washing nozzle arrangements 6, 7 are arranged on different sides of the web 1 and each consist of box-shaped bodies 8, 9, the length of which is at least that Width of the web 1 to be washed corresponds. On the side facing the web 1, the bodies 8 are delimited by two walls 9, 10, which are arranged at an angle to one another and on this side define a recess 11 with an essentially triangular cross section. Where the two walls 9, 10 abut one another in the deepest of the recess 11, nozzles 12 are formed, from which the water supplied can exit in the direction of the web 1 to be washed. The nozzles 12 can be a wide slot nozzle that extends over the entire length of the body 8, but it can also be a series of individual nozzles.

The walls 8, 9 end at edges 13, 14 which run transversely to the direction of movement of the web 1 and are at the same time leading edges 1 for the web.

The two washing nozzle arrangements 6, 7 are arranged vertically at a distance from one another and so that the edges 13, 14 of the washing nozzle arrangements 6, 7 define a zigzag path for the web 1.

The two washer nozzle arrangements 6, 7 are accommodated in a housing that in the schematic illustration Device pulled off. The web 1 can then be rolled up into a wrap or bale, if necessary after a drying process.
