Abstract

B. zwei einander gegenüberliegende Rahmenteile identisch ausbilden, so daß man gegenüber der bisher bekannten Konstruktion mit zwei unterschiedlichen Rahmenteilen auskommt, wodurch sich Herstellung und Lagerhaltung entsprechend vereinfachen. Trotz identischer Ausbildung der Rahmenteile des einen Paares wird durch die Maßnahme, daß das eine Rahmenteil um 180° gewendet gegenüber dem gegenüberliegenden Rahmenteil eingebaut wird, die gewünschte unterschiedliche Orientierung der Neigung der Dichtflächen erzielt. Es wird ferner erreicht, daß die einander gegenüberliegenden Rahmenteile des anderen Paares nach dem Wenden um die zur Rahmenebene parallele Achse und nach Drehen um die zur Rahmenebene senkrechte Achse einen Deckel mit anderen Einlegetiefe und/oder Neigung der Seitenflächen aufnehmen. Claims (6)

1. A polygonal, particularly rectangular, frame for man-hole covers assembled from a number of frame members (1, 2, 3, 4) extending lengthwise of the frame sides, the frame members being provided with supporting and/or inclined sealing faces for a cover, at least two opposed frame members (1, 3) being identical, characterised in that one pair of opposed frame members (1, 3) is interchangeable after turning it by 180° about an axis (X) extending parallel with the frame plane, and in that the other pair of opposed frame members (2, 4) is interchangeable after turning it by 180° about an axis (Y) parallel with the frame plane and rotating it about an axis (Z) normal to the frame plane.
2. A frame according to claim 1, characterised in that each of the indentical frame members (2, 4) of the other pair comprises supporting faces (22, 22', 24, 24') and/or sealing faces (12, 13, 12', 14') on either side, i. e. internally and externally.
3. A frame according to claim 2, characterised in that the optionally used supporting and/or sealing faces are provided for different members to be laid-in and/or different forms of the cover.
4. A frame according to claim 2, characterised in that the optinally used supporting und/or sealing faces are provided for the same laying-in depth and/or form of the cover.
5. A frame according to claim 1 and 2, characterised in that the one pair of opposed frame members (1, 3) is provided with sealing faces (11, 13) inclined in tha same direction, and in that the sealing faces (12, 14) of the two frame members (2, 4) of the other pair extend in opposite directions.
6. A frame according to anyone of the preceding claims, characterised in that only the opposed frame members (2, 4) of the other pair are provided with supporting faces (22, 24).
