Abstract

The invention relates to an energy wood grapples comprising at least one housing, comprising bottom, ceiling and rear wall, a cutting blade rigidly attached to the housing and an attachment assembly for connecting the energy wood grapples to a mobile machine, claws movably attached to the housing, at least one working cylinder controlling the movement of the claws and a reaction rod connecting claws to guarantee synchronized movement with the working cylinder. The housing with its bottom, ceiling and rear wall is formed of a single bent metal sheet and includes reinforcing ribs. A vertical backrest is rigidly attached to the ceiling of the housing and extends down to the cutting blade. The reaction rod consists of an upper profile, a lower profile and a connecting front wall. Thus, the working cylinder is surrounded by the bottom, ceiling and rear wall of the housing and by the upper profile, the lower profile and the front wall of the reaction rod. the reaction rod being in turn surrounded by the bottom, ceiling and backrest of the housing.
