Abstract

Раскрыт способ электрохимического восстановления металлооксидного исходного материала в твердом состоянии в электролизере. Электролизер содержит ванну расплавленного электролита, анод, катод и средство для приложения потенциала между анодом и катодом. Способ характеризуется подачей в ванну такого количества электролита, которое больше, чем то количество электролита, которое требуется для замещения электролита, удаленного из ванны с восстановленным материалом, и удалением расплавленного электролита из ванны для поддержания высоты ванны на требуемой высоте или в пределах некоторого диапазона требуемых высот.
