Abstract

The nappy 10 comprises an essentially rectangular, absorbent and washable nappy body 12, the inner surface of which is designed to lie against the baby's skin. On the upper section 17 of the nappy two fastening tabs 15 are affixed, each of which has a predetermined length. On the outer surface 10b of the nappy a number of oblong fastening strips 20 are affixed at an interval from and parallel with one another. The interval between the said strips is slightly less than the predetermined length of the tabs, so that the tabs can be adjustably connected with, and form a bridge between, adjacent strips, as a result of which the size of the nappy can be adjusted to the size of the baby. <IMAGE>
