Abstract

The mechanism is of the type which comprises a hollow body 2, in which a slide 3 of complementary cross section is displaceable, which slide has an anvil 4, a piezoelectric element 6 and a metal stop 7, while, between the bottom 2a of the hollow body 2 and the inner end 3a of the slide 3, there are arranged two helical springs 16, 15 for, respectively, returning the slide 3 and releasing a striker pin 12 which is provided with two diametrically opposite pegs 11 which are each in engagement in a window 14 in the adjacent wall of the hollow body 2 and in a longitudinal guide cutout 9 in the slide 3, where each cutout has a notch 13, one edge 13b of which forms a hook for hooking fast the corresponding peg 11, on which it is brought into engagement by an inclined surface 14a which is formed in the transverse edge of the window 14 furthest away from the bottom 2a, and from which it is driven out by an inclined surface 14b which is inclined in the same direction but with opposite effect, and which is formed in the opposite transverse edge of the window 14. The common cross section of the borehole in the hollow body 2 and of the slide 3 has a non-circular circumference which has a maximum dimension in a direction which does not pass through the windows 14, and the distance between the free ends of the pegs 11 is smaller than the maximum dimension D and greater than the distance L between the two windows 14. <IMAGE>
