Abstract

A lock 1 for releasable fastening of security devices to goods and of the type which comprises a housing, consisting of an outer housing part 3a and an inner housing part 3b, and which contains guide surfaces 11, 12 and locking plates 4 which are adapted so as to engage with a stud, can be assembled in a particularly simple manner and produced with smaller diametral dimensions than previously known locks, the inner housing part 3b consisting of an on the whole cylindrical part 6 which at its end 8 which faces away from the outer housing part 3a is closed by means of a plug 7 which supports the spring 5 of the lock. With this construction, it is possible to mount locking plates between the cylindrical housing part 6 and the outer housing part 3a without risk of the locking plates being incorrectly mounted. Then, the plug 7 together with the spring 5 is mounted, after which the lock is ready for use. It is thus possible to produce the lock without using special aids. <IMAGE>
