Abstract

A support pillar for supporting a slab 5, such as a balcony slab, on a wall 1, comprises support members 3, 4 for supporting the slab and mounting members 12, 13, B5, M5 for essentially vertical mounting of the support pillar on the wall. The support pillar consists of a tube 2 with a plane surface for bearing against the wall 1. The tube 2 comprises fixing members 10, 11 which are adapted so as to fix the support members 3, 4 to the tube 2 at a vertically adjustable level. The mounting members 12, 13, B5, M5 comprise a slot 12 which extends through the tube essentially parallel to the plane surface, and a bar 13 which is inserted into the slot 12 and is adapted so as to be fixed to the wall 1 on both sides of the tube and the height of which is considerably smaller than the height of the slot. <IMAGE>
