Abstract

A chassis for a heating unit comprises a heating body associated with an exchanger which is connected on the one hand to an opening 3 for the return of water for heating through a pump 4 and a change-over valve and on the other hand to an opening 6 for forward flow of water for heating through an enclosure connected to the valve, in which there is an exchanger for producing hot domestic water. The chassis is characterized in that it is made from a plate in one piece of cast material 1, in which there are formed the housing 5' for the change-over valve, the pump housing 4', a chamber 24 which forms the enclosure for receiving the exchanger, inlet and outlet openings 3, 6 for the water circuit for heating, ducts 14, 15, 20, 22, 26 which connect said elements, and at least some of the means for fastening said parts on the chassis and the chassis on its support. The invention is particularly suitable for wall-mounted heating units. <IMAGE>
