Abstract

The method involves lifting a platform (18) to a preset height above a mean sea level, and fixing the platform to vertical supports (14). A lower guiding unit and an upper guiding unit (28) for guide and support pipes are supported on a support construction (12) i.e. lattice work, during transport of an offshore arrangement (10) and lowering stroke of the construction. The upper guiding unit is supported by the platform via a holding unit, after preset lowering stroke of the construction, when the guiding units reach a height of the platform during lowering of the construction. An independent claim is also included for an offshore arrangement comprising a support construction.
