Abstract
A container (1) for storing and transporting a permanent magnet (2) is provided. The container (1) comprises an open space (9) for storing the permanent magnet (2). The space (9) is surrounded by a shell (8) which has a thickness that provides that the permanent magnet (2) can not come close enough to other magnetic material to exert significant force on it. Moreover, a method for replacing a permanent magnet (2) from a first position to a second position is disclosed. It comprises the steps of: placing the permanent magnet (2) from the first position into an inventive container (1); transporting the container (1) with the permanent magnet (2) to the second position; removing the permanent magnet (2) from the container (1); and placing the permanent magnet (2) in the second position.
