Abstract
A folding table comprises a table top 1, which is fastened to legs 2 and a side rail 3. The table has hinge members for interaction with matching fittings 6 on a table flap and a pull-out extension 12 for bearing support of the flap 4 in the opened-out position. In order to avoid the presence of unsightly hinge members on the table, the legs 2, which are wholly or partially hollow, are fitted to the side rails 3 of the table in such a way that a gap 7 is present between the upper end 10 of the individual leg and the underside of the table top 1.
