Claims (12)
1. Sammensætning, omfattende: (a) krystallinsk ceftiofur-fri syre; og (b) en vehikel omfattende: (i) en modificeret flydende bærer, som er en umættet olie, der er modificeret til at have en peroxidværdi på mellem 0,1 og 600 milliækvivalenter (mEq) peroxid pr. 1000 gram olie, og (ii) en umodificeret flydende bærer hvor volumenforholdet mellem den modificerede flydende bærer og den umodificerede flydende bærer er mellem 0,00001:99,99999 og mindre end 0,01:99,99.
2. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor vehiklen omfatter en modificeret flydende bærer og en umodificeret, umættet olie, der er egnet til modificering.
3. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor vehiklen omfatter en modificeret og en ikke-oxiderbar olie.
4. 7. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, omfattende krystallinsk ceftiofur-fri syre, modificeret bommuldsfrøolie og mættet kokosolie.
8. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, omfattende krystallinsk ceftiofur-fri syre, modificeret trilinolein og mættet kokosolie.
9. Sammensætning ifølge krav 7, hvor koncentrationen af krystallinsk ceftiofur-fri syre i sammensætningen ligger i området 50 mg/ml til 250 mg/ml.
10. Sammensætning ifølge krav 7, hvor koncentrationen af krystallinsk ceftiofur-fri syre i sammensætningen ligger i området fra ca. 100 mg/ml til ca. 200 mg/ml.
11. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af den farmaceutiske sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 10, omfattende trinnene at modificere den flydende umættede oliebærer (i) til at have en peroxidværdi på mellem 0,1 og 600 milliækvivalenter (mEq) peroxid pr. 1000 gram olie, kombinere den modificerede flydende bærer med en umodificeret flydende bærer til tilvejebringelse af en vehikel og kombinere den modificerede flydende vehikel med krystallinsk ceftiofur-fri syre.
12. Sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 10 til anvendelse ved fremstilling af et medikament til behandling af bakterieinfektioner hos pattedyr.
