Abstract

A hydraulically controlled gas fitting (20) for a gas heated water heater, comprises a valve for adjusting the intensification factor, which fixes the ratio of the gas volume flow to the water volume flow. The valve consists of a sleeve (8) with a slot (9) and a guide (21) with an opening (13). The sleeve is located in the guide so the slot is continually over the opening.
