Abstract
Static mixer (1) has a number of mixing element s (18) to vortex a fluid flowing through the mixer, which has a catalytically active TiO2 coating (26) for the hydrolysis of a reductant, esp. urea. Also claimed is an exhaust gas line for a combustion device, esp. a diesel engine comprising an exhaust gas pipe (32), a feed pipe (36) for urea, and the mixer 91). A deNOx catalyst (46) for reducing NOx in the exhaust gas is connected to the mixer in the flow direction (27) of the exhaust gas (34).
