Abstract

A composite double-layer packaging material, particularly for food products, comprising a first support layer (10), upon which a second layer (11) is adhered, consisting of a thin film of a material hygienically acceptable for contact with food products so as to form a double-layer sheet, characterized in that said thin film of hygienically acceptable material (11) has sizes larger that the sizes of said first support layer, so that it forms at least a foldable flap (12,13,14) to cover a food product laid upon said double-layer sheet. <IMAGE>
