Abstract
The clasp for a leather bag (1) comprises a rigid female piece (8) made of metal, plastic or leather. This piece which has a hole (9) passing through it is fixed to a first wall of the bag and faces a second wall. It passes through a cut-out hole (10) in the second wall. A deformable male tongue (11) is fixed by one end to one of the bag walls and passes through the female hole. The tongue penetrates into the hole in the female piece and is passed through the cut-out with a force or deformation so as to ensure its retention without accidental disengagement. Both the hole and the tongue have an anti-slip contact surface.
