Abstract
The drive/generator combination has a rotor bearing (12) provided by a machine support (36) and an electrical generator. The rotor bearing is coupled via a switched coupling (14) with a planetary carrier (16) for the drive, positioned in front of a front fixing plate (17) of the machine support. The front fixing plate has a seating (40) on its inside face receiving a sun wheel axis (20), the outside of the seating supporting the inner ring (42) of the pole wheel carrier (28) of the generator, coupled to the sun wheel via a further switched coupling (24).
