Abstract
The description relates to printing inks for toluene gravure and flexo-printing and an additive containing these printing inks which lead to a substantial reduction in the residual toluene content of the prints produced in these printing processes. The printing inks and the additive contain a component with a boiling range of over 180 DEG C which may be selected from one or more of the classes of following substances: mineral oil, polyalkyl benzene, vegetable oil, glycol ether, glycol ester, glycol ether ester and polyisobutylene.
