Abstract

In a stepped countersinking tool for achieving precision machining, provision is made for the cutting tips (2) of each step (1a, 1b, 1c) to be put onto slide-like mountings (4) displaceably guided radially (R) in the tool carrier (1), and for the mountings (4) to be lockable in any diameter position relative to the tool carrier (1). To realise radial and axial adjustability of the slide-like mountings (4), these mountings (4), in a further embodiment variant, are themselves arranged in axially movable cutting-tip holders (7). <IMAGE>
