Azolyl methyl oxiranes of the general formula <IMAGE> in which A and B represent alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, biphenyl, naphthyl, hetaryl or phenyl, it being possible for these radicals to be substituted, D represents an alkyl radical and X represents the radical CH or N, and their acid addition salts and metal complexes which are tolerated by plants, and fungicides containing these compounds.
