Abstract

In a valve for sanitary fittings, having at least one inlet and outlet opening and a fixed disc which contains at least one inlet opening, and having a plate cam which is arranged such that it can move with respect to the fixed disc, is provided with at least one overflow channel, formed as a perforation, and whose end side facing away from the fixed disc is held by a covering and guiding cap, a sieve ring being arranged in the overflow channel in the region of the side wall, it is proposed for improvement that the sieve ring be arranged at right angles to the sealing plane of the fixed disc and the plate cam in the overflow channel, and be attached to the covering and guiding cap, the sieve ring being located at least in the region of the inlet opening or inlet openings in the immediately vicinity of the side wall of the overflow channel. <IMAGE>
