Abstract

Conversion of the sampling rates of digital signals by means of an interpolation computer which calculates from interpolation points derived from input sample values and from time differences between input and output sampling times, measured by means of a timer, the output sample values. Difference structure computers form from the interpolation points special difference structures of second, fourth and further even-numbered orders, from which the sample values are obtained in accordance with the Everett interpolation formula.
