Shelf for displaying goods, in particular CDs, CD-ROMs, audio or video cassettes packed in cases, with at least one standing surface (21) which is delimited by a front wall (24) and a rear wall (22) and with several compartment dividers (25) which divide the standing surface (21) into adjacent compartments and run essentially perpendicular to the front and rear walls, characterized in that the compartment dividers are brackets, in particular wire brackets (25), that each bracket (25) with its front end (25a) passes through a front hole (29) in the front wall (24) and with its rear end (25b) passes through a rear hole (28) in the rear wall (22) and with its rear end (25b) is in frictional engagement with a contact surface.

13. Shelf according to claim 12, characterized in that the bracket (25) is prestressed perpendicular to its longitudinal axis when inserted.

14. Shelf according to claim 12 or 13, characterized in that the contact surface is formed on a section (23) of the rear wall (22) which is angled backwards above the rear bore (28).

15. Shelf according to claim 12 or 13, wherein several standing surfaces are arranged offset from one another in tiers, characterized in that the contact surface is formed by the underside of the standing surface of the tier above.

16. Shelf according to one of claims 12 to 15, characterized in that the front wall (24) is bent at its upper free end by approximately 180° in the direction of the rear wall (22) and that the front bore (29) is formed in the bent region (24a).
