Description
Reinigungsmittel für Ver- und Entsorgungs-Cleaning agents for supply and disposal
systemesystems
The invention relates to a cleaning agent for supply and disposal systems in households and industry, in particular for pipe systems, which is suitable for breaking down typical pipe deposits such as fats, carbohydrates, proteins, cellulose and hermicellulose.
For a long time, mainly strongly alkaline or strongly acidic inorganic cleaning agents, sometimes with abrasive additives, were used for this purpose. The alkaline agents used were mainly caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite or sodium nitrite. The effectiveness of these agents is based on the conversion of the deposits (usually organic biopolymers) into their soluble monomers. The disadvantages of these strongly alkaline or acidic agents are obvious. They are extremely aggressive towards the materials that the pipe systems are usually made of, handling these agents can be hazardous to health (hazardous substances according to the Chemicals Act), and they pollute sewage treatment plants and the waste water.
Staub) in Textilien beseitigt. Enzymes and microorganisms are now also being used as active components of cleaning agents. DE-OS-33 22 950 describes a textile cleaning agent that contains the enzyme cellulose as an active component and removes discoloration on shirt collars and cuffs, greasy dirt and inorganic solid dirt (e.g. dust) in textiles.
An enzyme-based pipe cleaning agent, with which common commercial and household drains can be treated in order to prevent or eliminate blockages, is disclosed in DE-OS 39 06 124. The enzyme mixture consists essentially of pectinases, amylases, cellulases, polygalacturonases, lipases and proteases. In addition, this pipe cleaning agent contains enzyme-tolerant surfactants, a buffer salt mixture to ensure maximum activity of the enzymes used, complexing agents for enzyme-toxic heavy metals and table salt as a carrier.
A cleaning agent containing microorganisms is described in EP-B-0 245 560. This liquid cleaning agent contains abrasive particles such as silicon dioxide, aluminum silicate or clay and microorganisms capable of reproduction. Organisms of the genera Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Arthroobacter, Enterobacter, Citrobacter and Corynebacter are used as microorganisms, with Bacillus subtilis being particularly preferred. The cleaning agent is in the form of an aqueous suspension containing detergent. Non-ionic surfactants are used as detergents in concentrations of up to 20% by weight. The detergent has the task of dispersing the solid deposits, e.g. fats, so that they can then be broken down by the microorganisms.
On the one hand, this cleaning agent has the disadvantage that the abrasive components are not biodegradable. On the other hand, non-ionic surfactants are water pollutants that tend to foam in sewage treatment plants and are also difficult to biodegrade under certain circumstances.
15The aim of the invention was therefore to provide a reliable, but non-aggressive cleaning agent for complex pipe deposits made of fats, carbohydrates, proteins, cellulose and hemicelluloses, whose components are biodegradable and do not pollute groundwater, wastewater or sewage treatment plants. 15
The task is solved by a cleaning agent consisting of a pre-cleaner I, which is a water/oil emulsion of glycerides of native fatty acids, one or more native oils and fatty acid salts of native fatty acids and a component II, which contains a mixture of an organic carrier, reproducible microorganisms and hydrolytic enzymes.
Sukzessive werdenThe cleaning agent works on the basis that component I adheres to the surface of the pipe deposits as a thin film after it has been added and penetrates into the deposits by diffusion. The very small amounts of enzymes introduced with component II hydrolyse the bio-polymers clogging the drain pipes into monomers. The hydrolysate mixtures thus created serve as a source of nutrients and energy for the microorganisms fed with component II. The enzymes now produced in situ by the microorganisms in turn reinforce the enzymatic hydrolysis.
With the utilization of the hydrolysate mixtures, the components of component I are also broken down and utilized.
Besonders geeignet sind als Duftstoffe Fruchtsäureester (Limone.)A fatty acid ester mixture of mono-, di- and triglycerides of native fatty acids with 12-18 carbon atoms and dissolved fatty acid salts of these acids of the chain lengths mentioned are preferably used as component I according to the invention. The fatty acid ester mixture preferably contains glycerides of lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, elaidic acid and ricinoleic acid in equal parts. Castor oil is particularly suitable as a native oil for component I. The proportion of native oil(s) and fatty acid salts in component I should not exceed 20% by weight. The pH value of component I should be as neutral as possible and should be between 6.0-8.0, preferably between 6.5-7.5. Component I can optionally contain one or more fragrances. Fruit acid esters (lime) are particularly suitable as fragrances.
Die Gesamtkonzentration der Mikroorganismen in Komponente II beträgt zwischen 1.104 bisThe microbiologically-enzymatically active component II consists of approximately 86-94% by weight of an organic, carbohydrate-containing carrier mixed with a microorganism suspension which contains hydrolytic enzymes in addition to microorganisms capable of reproduction. The microorganisms used are bacteria from natural sources which are neither pathogenic to humans, animals or plants and which belong to risk group I. According to the invention, the strains Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus circulans, Bacillus stearothermophilus, Pseudomonas flourescens and Pseudomonas stützeri are used in their entirety or in a selection - depending on the nature of the deposits to be removed. The total concentration of the microorganisms in component II is between 1.10 4 and
1.109 Keime/g. 51.10 9 germs/g. The microorganisms make up approximately 3-7% by weight of component II. The microorganisms are produced by multiplying them as pure cultures and harvesting them by centrifugation. 5
In addition to the microorganisms, component II contains approx. 3-7% by weight of commercially available hydrolytic enzymes. According to the invention, lipases, amylases, proteases, cellulases and hemicellulases are used in their entirety or in a selection in coordination with the microorganisms and depending on the type of deposits to be removed. Breadcrumbs are particularly suitable as a carbohydrate-containing carrier to which microorganisms and enzymes are applied.
Ebenso wie dem Vorreiniger I können auch der Komponente II bei Bedarf Duftstoffe, insbesondere Fruchtsäureester (Limone), zugesetzt werdenAs with pre-cleaner I, fragrances, especially fruit acid esters (lime), can also be added to component II if required
The product according to the invention is used in such a way that the pre-cleaner is first added to the deposits and left to work for several hours. The amount of component I added depends on the amount of deposits. As a rule, the ratio of deposits to added component I is 5:1, i.e. 2g of component I is sufficient for a deposit of approx. 10g.
After component I has taken effect, the same amount of the spreadable component II is added and a little water is added. After a reaction time of approx. 4-7 hours, the deposit is removed in a gentle manner without the waste water or sewage treatment plants being contaminated by the degradation products of the cleaning agent.
In order to demonstrate the effect of the cleaning agent according to the invention, a hard fat plug was dissolved in 10 g of commercially available Palmin.
Der pH-Wert betrug 6,9 .For this purpose, the hard fat was mixed with 2 g of pre-cleaner I. This pre-cleaner contained glycerides of lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, elaidic acid, ricinoleic acid in equal parts, fatty acid salts of the above-mentioned fatty acids dissolved in water and castor oil. The pH value was 6.9.
Species in Komponente II betrug 2.108/g.After several hours of exposure, 2 g of a spreadable mixture of breadcrumbs (90% by weight) with a total of 5% biomass from Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus circulans, Bacillus stearothermophilus, Pseudomonas flourescens and Pseudomonas stützeni and a total of 5% commercially available lipases, amylases, proteases, cellulases and hemicellulases were added and a little water was added. The concentration of the microorganisms of the above-mentioned species in component II was 2.10 8 /g.
It was found that after 6 hours of exposure the hard fat phase was completely dissolved.
