State of the art and sources:

Sieve trays of the usual design have dimensions according to DIN standard 13999 and cannot be integrated into other DIN standard 13999 trays, whether as sieve trays or unperforated trays. Their instrument holders and plug-in elements (one cannot directly speak of plug-in elements here) must be fixed with screws or to the fastening aids.

The sieve trays are closed on the actual sieve with hinged lids. Due to the shape based on DIN dimensions, these trays cannot be used in closed trays according to DIN.

Problem:

The invention specified in the preamble 1 and in claim 1 is based on the problem of creating a sieve tray system that enables the user to put used and thus contaminated instruments back into the same tray from which they were taken, in order to ensure that the instruments required for a specific surgical procedure remain together as a set.
