Elektrische Widerstandselemente für Anlasser, Regler u. dgl. bestehen oft aus einzelner, mäander-oder wellenförmigen Einzelelementen von flacher Form. Zur einwandfreieren Halterung müssen die Widerstände oft auch außerhalb der Anschlußstellen noch befestigt werden. Hierzu hat man häufig Glimmer- od. dgl. Zwischenlagen verwendet. Dieser hat aber den Nachteil, daß er sich schwer verarbeiten oder verbiegen läßt. Auch ist es bekannt, blattförmige nachgiebige Widerstandselemente mit Isolierzwischenlagen zu einem Paket zusammenzupressen. Als Zwischenlagen hat man Schieferstäbe, Keramik oder Glimmer verwendet, die sich im allgemeinen teils wegen mangelnder Reinheit, teils wegen nicht genügender Temperatur- oder Druckfestigkeit nicht bewährt haben.There are electrical resistance elements for starters, regulators and the like often from individual, meandering or wave-shaped individual elements of flat shape. Besonders vorteilhaft kann man aber auch Hülsen direkt als fertige Formteile herstellen, da die Formmasse vor Erhärtung leicht jeder vorgeschriebenen Form anpaßbar ist. Auch kann man bei entsprechender Wahl des Bindemittels Formteile, z. B. als Zwischenlagen od. dgl., herstellen, die allen an sie gestellten Anforderungen gerecht werden. Als wesentlicher Vorteil tritt hierbei hinzu, daß für die Herstellung der Glimmerpülpe Glimmerabfall oder Glimmerteile, die wegen ihres geringen Ausmaßes für die Verarbeitung nicht mehr verwendbar sind, benutzt werden können.
