Die Neuerung betrifft eine Verpackung für flache Gegenstände, wie Spiegel, verglaste, rahmenlose Bildträger od. dgl., bestehend aus einem dem Gegenstandszuschnitt formangepaßten, schalenförmigen, flachen Träger mit einer Gegenstandsaufnahmeeintiefung.The innovation concerns a packaging for flat objects, such as mirrors, glazed, frameless picture carriers or the like, consisting of a bowl-shaped, flat carrier with a recess for receiving the object, adapted to the shape of the cut object.

Derartige Verpackungen werden, soweit bekannt, bislang aus geblähtem Kunststoff, insbesondere Polystyrol gebildet und mit den darin eingelegten Gegenständen, in der Regel mit einer Klarsichtfolie umspannt, zum Verkauf gebracht. Diese Verpackungen genügen an sich den an sie zu stellenden Forderungen, nämlich Rand- und Glasschutz, Leichtigkeit und Kostengünstigkeit. Der Kunststoff bedarf allerdings einer Entsorgung. Da außerdem Kunststoff der genannten Art selbst relativ bruchanfällig ist, sind derartige Verpackungen mit einem durchgehenden Boden versehen, der am Umfang in daran angeformte Wulstränder übergeht, die die Ränder des darin eingelegten Gegenstandes schützen sollen.Packaging of the type mentioned is sufficiently well known and in use, so that no written proof is required in this regard.
