The innovation relates to a hospital or nursing bed with a bed frame supported by two lifting devices, the height or inclination of which is adjusted using the lifting devices, which can be switched individually or together, whereby the hospital or nursing bed can be moved in any storage position using a foot pedal.

Hospital or nursing beds that can be raised or tilted are known in various designs, whereby the lever rods for adjusting the height or tilt of the bed frame are relatively complex. Furthermore, the base frame and lever rods of these well-known hospital or nursing beds are arranged in an unsightly way, so that they do not look very attractive.

There are also hospital or nursing beds that look good thanks to a covering on the base frame, but have the disadvantage that the hospital or nursing bed can only be moved in a certain storage position.

The aim of the innovation is to improve a hospital or care bed in such a way that simple, stable, motor-driven and covered lifting devices are used for the variable adjustment of the bed frame in parallel height and in an inclined position, so that a hospital or care bed with a homely character is created, whereby the hospital or care bed can be made mobile in any storage position.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that two covered motor-driven lifting devices are arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bed and are used together for the parallel raising or individually for the inclination of the bed frame.

The lifting device is adjusted via two telescopic columns each, which are adjusted by a vertically positioned E motor via a telescopic threaded spindle. A cover is advantageously attached to each lifting device for optical reasons, whereby the locking lever for making the hospital or nursing bed mobile can be operated in any storage position.

The hospital or nursing bed has lifting devices attached to the length of the bed, by means of which the height and inclination of the bed frame 1 can be adjusted.

In FIG. I, a lifting device is shown in the lowest storage position, with the standpipes 7 extended. In this position, the rollers 25 have no contact with the ground. The upper frame, consisting of longitudinal and transverse tubes, supports the telescopic columns 18 with the bridges 3. The electric motor 24 is attached to the web 4 of the upper frame 2 with a cross bolt 33. The telescopic columns 18 are screwed to the base frame with the guide tubes 6, the longitudinal tubes 15 and the cross brackets 9, with a base frame 19 being attached to the lower area of the telescopic columns 18, which provides additional stability. The electric motor 24 is supported by the telescopic threaded spindle 23 via the bolt 21 on the base frame 19.

The hospital or nursing bed is made mobile by operating the locking axle 10 via the locking lever 11. During this process, the brackets 13 welded to the locking axle 10 move the joint brackets 14, which during this movement pull the uprights 7 upwards via the brackets 30 attached to the uprights 7 and bring the rollers 25 into action. If the hospital or nursing bed is to be secured again, the locking lever 11 is moved in the opposite direction until the support tubes 7 lift the castors 25 off the floor. FIG.III, FIG. V

For optical reasons, the cover 29 conceals the individual lifting devices, whereby the locking levers 11 with the pedal rubber remain exposed and can be operated in any storage position.

The panel 28, which is made from a single unit, is attached to the bed frame 1 and covers both lifting devices. FIG. VI, whereby the cutout on the long side of the panel 28 allows the use of a patient lift in any storage position.

Claims (4)

Protection claims 1. Hospital or nursing bed with a bed frame 1 supported on two lifting devices, the height and inclination of which are adjusted via electric motors 24, which can be switched individually or together, characterized, that the lifting devices have a cover and that the height adjustment is carried out via multiple telescopic columns 18, whereby an electric motor 24 standing vertically between the telescopic columns drives the upper frame 2 with the bed frame via a telescopic threaded spindle. 2. Hospital or nursing bed according to claim 1 characterized, that the hospital or nursing bed can be moved in any storage position using foot pedals 12 without the need to change the storage height. 3. Hospital or nursing bed according to claims 1 and 2 characterized, that the lifting devices are on extendable standpipes, which are retracted using foot pedals 12 to make the hospital or nursing bed mobile until the castors 25 are in contact with the floor.
