Der Erfindungsgedanke des Hauptpatents besteht dabei darin, die Größe der Auflagefläche zwischen Anker und Relaiskern so zu wählen, daß sie zum mittleren Querschnitt des Eisenkreises annähernd in dem gleichen Verhältnis steht wie die magnetische Remanenz zur Sättigung. Für die praktische Gestaltung dieser Auflageflächen sind im Hauptpatent verschiedene Vorschläge gemacht, wobei teils das normalerweise für den Eisenkreis (Kern und Anker) verwendete Material selbst entsprechend ausgebildet wird, teils in Anker und/oder Kern eingesetzte Niete od. dgl. aus magnetischem Material die erforderlichen Auflageflächen schaffen. Eine wichtige Rolle spielt bei allen Ausführungsformen der Oberflächenschutz, der auch über lange Betriebszeiten hinweg unverändert wirksam bleiben muß, damit das Relais seine verlangten Eigenschaften beibehält.In patent 918 825 are so-called self-holding Relay described, d.
