Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die nach der Aufnahme des Klebstoffes anlaufende Papierbahn bei entsprechender Temperatur ohne Zerreißen beim Einfügen in die Wellenberge so weit gedehnt wird, daß im Wickelprozeß ein geschlossener und dichter Grefäßmantel von wellenförmiger Gestaltung entsteht. Durch die Herstellung solcher Ge- fäßmäntel auf der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung wird Material ei-spart, weil gegenüber den glatten Wandungen eine geringere Wandstärke ausreicht und die Stabilität des Mantels durch die Anordnung von Wellen erhöht ist.
